An ASM Metallurgy for the Non-Metallurgist regional seminar was held in Charleston, S.C., January 8-12. It was taught by Dr. McIntyre R. Louthan, FASM, and 22 students attended. Capping off the week was a tour hosted by Paul Mardikian, senior conservator of the H. L. Hunley conservation project at the Warren Lasch Conservation Center at the former Charleston Naval Base.
