Four Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles are to be built by Textron Marine & Land Systems, Boston, Mass. Textron will build two test vehicles for each of the two different categories of vehicles, a six-man and a ten-man vehicle. The MRAPs are based on Textron's Armored Security Vehicle (ASV), now being produced for the U.S.
