A rapid manufacturing system that can provide surgeons and medical device manufacturers with titanium models for improved surgical planning and implant development has been installed by Medical Modeling LLC, Golden, Colo. The system is the Arcam EBM (Electron Beam Melting) System. Medical Modeling manufactures final parts and prototypes from metal.
