Semiconductor Industry Assn. recognizes Prof. Paul Ho.(Members in the News)(2007 University Researcher Award )(Brief article)

The Semiconductor Industry Assn. (SIA), San Jose, Calif., has presented a 2007 University Researcher Award to Prof. Paul S. Ho, University of Texas at Austin, for "... lifetime contributions to advancing semiconductor technology." Dr. Ho holds the Cockrell Family Regents Chair in Materials Science & Engineering at the university and is director of the Laboratory for Interconnect & Packaging.
He has been involved in research programs sponsored by the Semiconductor Research Corp. (SRC), Durham, N.C., for 13 years and, says SIA, has made groundbreaking contributions to interconnect reliability technology.
