On April 25, Carpenter Technology Corp., Wyomissing, Pa., announced the appointment of Dr. Sunil Y. Widge, FASM, as senior vice president and chief technology officer. Widge will be responsible for leading process and product research and development in new material applications, and for leading the expansion of Carpenter's scientific capability in specialty alloy metallurgy.
