David Turnbull, FASM, Gordon McKay Professor of Applied Physics Emeritus at Harvard University, Cambridge, Mass., died April 28 at his home in Cambridge. He was 92. [ILLUSTRATION OMITTED] Dr. Turnbull graduated from Monmouth College, Monmouth, Ill., in 1936 and obtained a Ph.D. in physical chemistry from the University of Illinois, Urbana, in 1939.
