Music Sales Corp./G. Schirmer, an international music publisher, has increased its West Coast presence in the music user fields of film, television, advertising, and interactive media by retaining Victoria Clare of the A Clare Entertainment Group. Clare, a 15-year music publishing/record label executive, was formerly vice-president/creative for Polygram/Island Music Publishing, as well as professional manager at Chrysalis Music and ATV Music.
Music Sales/G. Schirmer already has quite a significant track record in the multi-media arena, with copyrights recently or currently in use in film (The Piano, A Perfect World), television ("Married...With Children," "Ren & Stimpy"), advertising (Wal-Mart Stores, Toyota), and on the latest record releases from Bjork and Guns...
