MUSIC & ARTS CENTER opened its 42nd location in July, in Nashville, Tennessee. The new store's permanent location had its grand opening in early November in Thoroughbred Village Center at Cool Springs, in the Nashville suburb of Franklin. The store features instrument sales and rentals, guitars, keyboards, sheet music, lessons, and repairs.
Ken Murray, the store manager, was formerly in management at Kroger Foods and has a degree in Recording Industry Management. To assist in meeting the demand for rental musical instruments for the back-to-school season, Music & Arts Center has also formed an affiliation with The Band Room, a respected music dealer in the Nashville area for 20 years.
