$15 mil. for renaming Universal Amphitheatre.(Gibson)

GIBSON GUITAR CORP. has entered a joint partnership with Universal Studios and House of Blues Concerts to rename the Universal Amphitheatre "The Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal Citywalk." Following an 18-month transition period, the name will be shortened to "The Gibson Amphitheatre." Valued at more than $14 million, the ten-year deal calls for an overall strategic partnership encompassing the venue, themed areas, and sales and marketing programs.

The famous amphitheatre is a prestigious venue for contemporary music among performers and fans since 1972.
