TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRY veteran Jim Stewart has been appointed chief operating officer of Loud Technologies, the parent of Mackie Designs, EAW, Tapco, Ampeg, Crate, and other m.i. brands. Stewart, 51, was most recently executive director of Sharper Counsel, a management consulting firm specializing in technology products. Previously he had a 28-year career with Hewlett-Packard, most recently as a vice president and general manager.
Stewart also held positions at lip in start-up general management, R&D, and engineering management. ...
