JAPAN RIMCOF DEVELOPS NEW ANTI-CORROSION ALLOY.

The R&D Institute of Metals and Composites for Future Industries (RIMCOF) in Tokyo announced that it has developed a new material that is 100 times more effective against corrosion than stainless steel. This unit of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) developed a 2mm sheet of amorphous nickel alloy by heating the material to 800 C within an hour, and by controlling the heating temperature and rolling speed.
