In what they say is a major development, Avtec Industries' new Thermaflex II (TM) is an aqueous-based, high-performance thermoplastic resin matrix, fire retardant resin / intumescent coating system, and it contains no VOCs (volatile organic compounds). This passive fire protection product helps to eliminate the need for production facility scrubbers, incinerators, personnel breathing devices, and Government report ing of VOC emissions to meet tightening Federal restrictions and requirements characteristic of all traditional solvent-based resin composite products.
