Quantum Achieves Milestone: First to Fill 5,000-psi CFRP Hydrogen Storage Cylinder, and Other News.

Quantum Technologies WorldWide, Inc. of Irvine, California, a wholly owned subsidiary of IMPCO Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: IMCO) announced that it achieved a major milestone by being the first company to fill a hydrogen (H2) storage cylinder with compressed hydrogen at 5,000-psi, at the California Fuel Cell Partnership (CAFCP).

The 5,000-psi hydrogen storage cylinder (Quantum's TriShield[TM] tank) is part of the Quantum fuel storage and delivery system developed and installed in several Hyundai Santa Fe fuel cell SUVs.
