Stesalit Ltd, which is situated in the Jurassic mountains in the canton of Soleure, was founded by the Stebler-Saner family that was resident there in 1956. Stesalit was principally concerned with the production of high performance plastic composites of various kinds, predominantly for the electric and machine industry and later with prepregs for the aircraft and aerospace industry.
