Federal Government Rolls Out New Contracting Notice Web Site.

The Commerce Business Daily (CBD) has been the federal government's sole source for contracting notices for decades. That is about to change as the government charges fully into the digital era with a new contracting Web site. Starting October 1, 2001, all federal agencies will be required to post notices of contracting opportunities on a single government Web site: Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) www.fedbizopps.gov .
