QUANTUM FIRST TO MARKET WITH 5,000-PSI HYDROGEN STORAGE FOR HYUNDAI FUEL CELL SUV.

QUANTUM Technologies WorldWide, Inc., (Nasdaq: IMCO) of Irvine, California says that it achieved a major milestone by being the first company to market with a hydrogen storage system capable of a 5,000-psi compressed hydrogen fill as demonstrated at the California Fuel Cell Partnership (CAFCP) recently.

Quantum developed and installed its new 5,000-psi hydrogen storage and fuel delivery systems on several Hyundai Santa Fe Fuel Cell SUV's. "A vital issue in bringing fuel cell vehicles to the marketplace is extending the vehicle range -- which requires efficient storage of compressed hydrogen at a high pressure. This is the principal advantage of our TriShield(TM) tank and the significance of QUANTUM's 5,000-psi cylinder-fill achievement," said Hussain....
