The proposed National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) for composites manufacturing was published August 2 in the Federal Register and includes many favorable provisions requested by the Composites Fabricators Association and members of the composites industry. The NESHAP will require molders and fabricators to adopt what the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has determined is maximum achievable control technology (MACT).
