Hexcel Corporation (NYSE/PCX: HXL) of Stamford, Connecticut reported results for the third quarter of 2001. Net loss for the 2001 third quarter was $12.8 million, or $0.34 per diluted share, compared to net income of $0.1 million, or $0.0 per diluted share for the third quarter of 2000. Excluding business consolidation expenses, the company's pretax loss for the 2001 third quarter was $4.4 million.
