The Pentagon is seeking ideas from anybody willing to suggest ways to combat terrorism. The agency issued a broad agency announcement on October 23 (No. 02-Q-4655) for short proposals in the areas of defeating difficult targets, conducting protracted operations in remote areas and developing countermeasures to weapons of mass destruction.
