Owens Corning (NYSE: OWC) of Toledo, Ohio reported financial results for the third quarter ended Sept. 30, 2001. For the quarter, the company had net sales of $1.291 billion, compared to $1.281 billion in the same period of 2000. Income from Operations before other charges and Chapter 11 reorganization items was $116 million in the quarter, compared to $106 million in the third quarter of the prior year before other charges.
