Aldila Inc. (Nasdaq:ALDA) in Poway, California announced net sales of $11.4 million and a net loss of $198,000 ($0.01 per share) for the first quarter ended March 31, 2002. In the corresponding 2001 quarter, the company's net sales were $14.6 million and net income was $988,000, or $0.06 per diluted share.
