Zoltek Companies, Inc. (Nasdaq: ZOLT) of St. Louis, Missouri reported results for the second quarter of fiscal year 2002. Excluding discontinued operations, Zoltek had a net loss of $2.9 million on revenues of $17.5 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2002, compared with a net loss of $11.8 million (a $4.3 million loss excluding a $7.5 million one time charge) on revenues of $20.3 million in the second quarter of fiscal 2001.

In fiscal 2002's first quarter, excluding discontinued operations, Zoltek had a $3.7 million loss on revenues of $16.6 million. "This was our best ...
