BUDD TO PRODUCE SMC PICKUP BOX FOR TOYOTA.

Toyota has selected The Budd Company, a ThyssenKrupp Automotive company and a leading supplier to the automotive industry, to produce a pickup truck inner box.
"Budd's Plastics Division is very pleased to be a supplier for Toyota," said Rick Urso, president of the Plastics Division. "We are glad to be expanding our business with Toyota, a world-class automotive company." Budd will build a new facility in the Tijuana, Mexico area to supply Toyota's new truck bed facility that will be built there. The fiberglass reinforced polyester SMC molding material will be produced at Budd's Van Wert, Ohio plant.
