ZOLTEK COMPANIES REPORTS MANAGEMENT CHANGE.

March 19, 2003 - Zoltek Companies, Inc. (Nasdaq: ZOLT) reported that James F. Whalen, Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of the Company, will leave the company effective Friday, March 21, 2003, to pursue other business opportunities. Mr. Whalen has served as the Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of the company since April 2001. The company also reported that it is undertaking a search for a successor.
