AIR FORCE SPACE & MISSILE SYSTEMS CENTER (AFSMC) MANUFACTURING PROBLEM PREVENTION PROGRAM (MP3) COMPOSITES MEETING SET FOR JUNE 3-4.

April 27, 2003 - The Air Force Space & Missile Systems Center (AFSMC) Manufacturing Problem Prevention Program (MP3) will hold a special meeting on composites, June 3-4, at the facilities of Hitco Carbon Composites, Gardena, California.
The program is being organized by the AFSMC and The Aerospace Corporation in cooperation with the SAMPE Los Angeles Chapter.
Focus is on: (1) Manufacture and reliability of thick composite structures; (2) Nanocomposites; and (3) Deployable shape-memory composites.
There will also be table-top exhibits of materials and test equipment related to composites.
