May 25, 2003 - The recent merger of interests for marine trade shows by IBEX and BoatBuilding triggers more thoughts on our part, many of which were discussed at SAMPE this month. WE at Composites News think that SAMPE, CFA/ACMA, SPE, ASM, and SME should collaborate on how to hold ONE, U.S., giant, "composites" conference and expo each year, in order to build a more critical mass, a larger audience, greater value for the OEMs and other manufacturers looking for ideas.
Call it Composites Americas 2006 (year X), or Composites World 2007, or some such. Think big, think ...
