June 16, 2003 - Menzolit-Fibron GmbH now is heavily marketing its unique and new composite material based on commercial-grade carbon fibers in an automotive grade sheet molding compound (SMC). The new material is trade named AdvancedSMC(tm) and combines the high performance properties of CF with low cost manufacturing of SMC composites manufacture and compression molding.
