May 29, 2003 - ATK (Alliant Techsystems) (NYSE: ATK) has been awarded a $17.6 million contract by Boeing Air and Missile Defense Systems, Huntsville, Ala., to facilitize and qualify manufacturing processes for components of the Israeli Arrow II interceptor. Boeing is currently operating under a pre-production contract with Israel Aircraft Industries (IAI) in preparation for a follow-on production contract in 2003.
