Advanced Glassfiber Yarns LLC Participates In First CFA Trade Show.

October 1, 2003 - It is hard to believe but true; Advanced Glassfiber Yarns LLC (AGY), the leader in high-strength fiberglass reinforcements, participated in its first American Composiets Manufacturers Association or ACMA (formerly Composite Fabricators Association--CFA) Composites 2003 trade show in anaheim, October 1-3.
Originally part of Owens Corning, AGY was spun off in 1998 as a joint venture with weaver Groupe Porcher of Lyon, France. Since then, the company has participated only at the JEC Trade Show in Paris and Techtextil in Frankfurt.
