October 14, 2003 - Dr. Nicholas Gianaris, lightweight materials specialist at Visteon Corporation, was honored as an American Society for Materials (ASM) Fellow for 2003 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
ASM established the honor of Fellow of the Society to provide recognition of members for distinguished contributions in the fields of materials science and engineering and to develop a broadly based forum for technical and professional leaders to serve as advisors to the Society.
Dr. Gianaris was recognized for his work in high-strength engineered plastics (including FRP composites) and metals offering lightweight solutions.
