March 1, 2004 - An Acrosoma(r) panel pultrusion machine (patented) is running at high speed in Belgium, for production of FRP composite truck trailer panels. The development took 2 years and the panel product was launched in June 2003. The Acrosoma company of Lokeren, Belgium, a spinoff of Stevens Carrosserie n.v.'s Composittrailer n.v., (both are units of Groep Stevens International n.v.) is producing 3-dimensional stitched sandwich panel in a continuous process.
