Exel Oyj Issues 1st Qtr 2004 Report.

April 23. 2004 - Exel Oyj today issued an interim report for the company's first quarter. Features of the report: - Very strong sales growth continues in both divisions; net sales for the first quarter grew by 67% to EUR 20.5 million (EUR 12.3 million). - This growth was driven by the expansion of Nordic Walking in Central Europe, the acquisition of Bekaert's pultrusion operations, and strong demand for specialty profiles.
