Byline: Vineeta Anand WASHINGTON - Pension and retirement issues are expected to crowd lawmakers' legislative calendar, but few changes are likely to be enacted in this shorter-than-usual politically charged election year. At the top of the list are efforts to enact a two-year replacement for the 30-year Treasury bond as the benchmark for calculating pension liabilities - legislation that cleared the House of Representatives but was crowded out of the Senate by Medicare prescription drug reform legislation in the closing days of the 2003 session.
