Byline: Vince Calio ING Group places a heavy emphasis on its asset management business, and has been steadily building it up in the past year, said Chairman and CEO Robert Crispin. The divestitures of Baring Asset Management, Delta Asset Management and ING Capital Advisors have caused consultants and plan sponsors alike to question the firm's commitment to asset management.
