HAMILTON LANE MANAGING DIRECTOR DEAD AT AGE 53 NEW YORK - L. Wayne Harber, a managing director at Hamilton Lane Advisors, died unexpectedly on March 16. He was 53. At Hamilton Lane, Mr. Harber was responsible for structuring investment strategies, fund-raising and coordinating investor relationships outside of the U.S.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy. Mrs. Harber has requested that donations be made to children-focused charities. Hamilton Lane established a fund in Mr. Harber's honor through the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Information on the fund is available at ...
