Ever since I received my first copy of COUNTRYSIDE magazine, I've wanted to share this in hopes that it will inspire someone to fulfill their dream of affording a place in the country. After raising our six children (his-and-hers), my husband, Zane and I were financially way behind other couples our age and income.

All but one of our brood was gone, and the large rented house we lived in seemed to get bigger and bigger!
