COUNTRYSIDE: I am deluged with a plethora of inane and tacky magazines at the local supermarket, and then I come home to an island of calm, practical sense and sensibility: my latest issue of COUNTRYSIDE. Regarding cast iron: I use salt to clean mine. It's just abrasive enough, and I rinse with very hot water and dry immediately.
