Hemi. For such a short word, it carries tremendous weight for Chrysler and for those who associate it with Chrysler motorsports prowess and serious street-car muscle. As far as we can tell, the U.S. arm of DaimlerChrysler is well on its way to putting a V8 Hemi engine in the next-generation 300M and reconfiguring the chassis from front-wheel drive to rear-wheel drive.
