Early during Old Dominion 500 weekend, Clay Campbell took heat for the condition of his Martinsville Speedway. Oh, it was immaculate and hospitable, but many drivers disliked the rough feel in the concrete turns. It seems Campbell had buffed and grooved the low lane, taking away grip in the process.
