Byline: AL PEARCE Mike Bliss dropped out of the season-opening Craftsman Truck Series race in Daytona Beach after 34 of 100 laps. That was his only DNF in 22 starts and the only time he didn't finish on the lead lap. That, as much as anything, explains how he led the points most of the season and won his first CTS title.
