Byline: MATT DAVIS With GM Europe (Opel, Saab, GM Daewoo and parts of Fiat) facing much-publicized business challenges, it's nice to report that Opel's turnaround shows signs of progress, specifically in the Meriva. Europeans call it either a compact MPV (multi-purpose vehicle) or a small MAV (multi-activity vehicle).
