World-record Vette A rare 1967 L88 Chevrolet Corvette brought a record price for a production-model Vette at the Mecum Gold Rush Corvette Auction at the 31st Annual Bloomington Gold Corvette Show in late June. Buyer Roger Judski of Roger's Corvette Center in Maitland, Florida, paid $640,000 for the car.
