Despite its weakness the last few seasons, the Reynard chassis seems to work well at Mid-Ohio. Unfortunately for Reynard drivers, Paul Tracy seems to work well everywhere these days. Tracy earned maximum points on the demanding little road course in the cornfields: two for going fastest in both qualifying sessions, a third for leading the most laps and 20 for the win. He won for the sixth time this season. Teammate Patrick Carpentier finished second. After crashing out and losing the championship lead for the first time this year at Road America, Tracy got back on his horse. ...
