NASCAR races at Michigan often come down to fuel mileage. This time, Ryan Newman was determined not to let that happen. With 10 laps to go Newman had a choice. He could continue to conserve fuel and hope leader Kurt Busch ran out, or he could run Busch down and hope he didn't run out of gas himself.
