Drifters announce championship Exact details are yet to be hashed out but there will be a national drifting championship in the United States in 2004. Granted, it will be only four events and the venues are not official, but it is another sign drifting is stepping out of the chaos of the street and onto a stretch of sanctioned pavement, maybe one near you.
