Lotus Opinions and Advice As a 1991 Lotus Elan owner, I'm afraid Lotus is going to shoot itself in the foot again. Rather than just under $40,000, the Elise (Cover Story, Dec. 15) should not exceed $33,000. It's pricing itself out of the market, which it could win. Lotus did the same thing with the 1991 Elan.
