When the Indy cars come to Texas Motor Speedway, you can count on a wild show, with long, tight packs running two or more wide all the way around the 1.5-mile oval. The June race is a genuine spectacle, run under the lights on Saturday night. But with the new, downsized 3.0-liter engine and reduced downforce mandated by the IRL in order to decrease speeds, there were some doubts as to how the traffic would shape up this time.
