Indy Racing League officials vowed to slow their teams down after a rash of pit stop problems-eight in the past five events-and it appears they're doing that. Chief steward Brian Barnhart (above) held Sam Hornish Jr. and Dario Franchitti out of the first practice session at Chicagoland Speedway last weekend for their mistakes at the previous race, in Nazareth.
