Jacques Villeneuve returned to Formula One in a big way this week. The 1997 world champion tested a Renault R24 at Silverstone on Wednesday and Thursday, prior to taking Jarno Trulli's place in the three remaining Grands Prix as the French-owned team concludes its long battle in the constructors' championship with BAR, the team that dropped Villeneuve just before the 2003 season finale.
