VETTRAINO The inaugural Champ Car race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway featured clumps of cars going three- and four-wide into Turn One and a tense, 20-lap duel to the finish between Newman-Haas teammates (and championship rivals) Sebastien Bourdais and Bruno Junqueira. It was an Indy Racing League-style race with no wrecks, more or less by design.
